# Rainer Stephan

**Rainer Ernst Stephan** (born 17 February 1943) is a German former [field hockey](/source/Field_hockey) player who competed at the [1964 Summer Olympics](/source/1964_Summer_Olympics) and the [1968 Summer Olympics](/source/1968_Summer_Olympics). He was born in [Chemnitz](/source/Chemnitz), [Saxony](/source/Saxony), Germany.[1]
