It is reserved for members of the [Scheduled Castes](/source/Scheduled_Castes) and comprises parts of Raghurajnagar tehsil and Nagod tehsil, both in [Satna district](/source/Satna_district).[2][3] As of 2023, it is represented by [Pratima Bagri](/source/Pratima_Bagri) of the [Bharatiya Janata Party](/source/Bharatiya_Janata_Party).
