**Rafaq** is the name of a settlement in [Ras Al Khaimah](/source/Ras_Al_Khaimah) in the [United Arab Emirates (UAE)](/source/United_Arab_Emirates), in the [Wadi Qor](/source/Wadi_Qor). It was visited in 2008 by [Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum](/source/Mohammed_bin_Rashid_Al_Maktoum) as part of a tour of remote mountain communities by the [Ruler of Dubai](/source/Ruler_of_Dubai).[1]

It is the site of an [Iron Age fortification.](/source/Iron_Age_in_the_United_Arab_Emirates)[2]
