**Raegan Beers** (born July 23, 2003) is an American professional [basketball](/source/Basketball) player for the [Connecticut Sun](/source/Connecticut_Sun) of the [Women's National Basketball Association](/source/Women's_National_Basketball_Association) (WNBA). She played [college basketball](/source/College_basketball) for the [Oregon State Beavers](/source/Oregon_State_Beavers_women's_basketball) and [Oklahoma Sooners](/source/Oklahoma_Sooners_women's_basketball).

## High school career

Beers played basketball for [Valor Christian High School](/source/Valor_Christian_High_School) in [Highlands Ranch, Colorado](/source/Highlands_Ranch%2C_Colorado). She missed her junior season with a [torn ACL](/source/Anterior_cruciate_ligament_injury), as her team won the Class 5A state title in her absence.[1] As a senior, she helped Valor Christian return to the Class 5A state title game and was named a [McDonald's All-American](/source/2022_McDonald's_All-American_Girls_Game).[2] Rated a five-star [recruit](/source/College_recruiting) by [ESPN](/source/ESPN), Beers committed to play college basketball for [Oregon State](/source/Oregon_State_Beavers_women's_basketball).[3]

## College career

As a freshman at Oregon State, Beers averaged 13.3 points and 8.6 rebounds per game, earning [All-Pac-12](/source/List_of_All-Pac-12_Conference_women's_basketball_teams) honors from the league's coaches and being named [Pac-12](/source/Pac-12_Conference) Freshman of the Year and Sixth Player of the Year.[4] In her sophomore season, she was selected to the All-Pac-12 Team.[5] She helped lead Oregon State to its first Elite Eight since 2018, where they ultimately lost to [South Carolina](/source/South_Carolina_Gamecocks_women's_basketball).[6]

Beers entered the transfer portal at the end of the [2023–24 season](/source/2023%E2%80%9324_Oregon_State_Beavers_women's_basketball_team), and committed to [Oklahoma](/source/Oklahoma_Sooners_women's_basketball) on April 29, 2024.[7]

As a junior, Beers averaged 17.3 points, 9.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game.[8] She had a season-high 30 points in back-to-back games against Arkansas and Alabama. Beers played in the [2025 FIBA Women's AmeriCup](/source/2025_FIBA_Women's_AmeriCup) and won a gold medal, averaging 8.1 points with a team-high 5.7 rebounds.[15]

## Personal life

Beers is a [Christian](/source/Christianity).[16] Beers' father, Ike, is a police [sergeant](/source/Sergeant) for the city of [Lakewood, Colorado](/source/Lakewood%2C_Colorado). Her older brother, Rocky, has played [college football](/source/College_football) for [Air Force](/source/Air_Force_Falcons_football) and [FIU](/source/FIU_Panthers_football), and her younger brother, Rowdy, also plays football for FIU.[17] Her sister, Rylie, plays basketball for [Belmont](/source/Belmont_Bruins_women's_basketball); the two played each other in Oklahoma's season opener in 2025.
