# RAF Derna

**Royal Air Force Derna** or more simply **RAF Derna** is a former [Royal Air Force](/source/Royal_Air_Force) [station](/source/List_of_former_Royal_Air_Force_stations) located near [Derna](/source/Derna,_Libya), [Libya](/source/Libya).

## History

On 4 November 1943 [No. 1586 Flight RAF](/source/No._1586_Flight_RAF) was formed at RAF Derna.[1]
