# Quinto Elemento

***Quinto Elemento*** ([Portuguese](/source/Portuguese_language) for "*Fifth Element*") is the second studio album by [Brazilian](/source/Brazil) [rock](/source/Rock_music) band [Zero](/source/Zero_(Brazilian_band)). Their first proper studio release in 20 years since *[Carne Humana](/source/Carne_Humana_(album))* in 1987, it was independently released on August 30, [2007](/source/2007_in_music).[1] The band has uploaded early versions of each of the album's songs on their official [Myspace](/source/Myspace) as teasers.[2]

The tracks "Em Volta do Sol", "Mentiras" and "Dedicatória" were re-recorded from their 2000 compilation *[Electro-Acústico](/source/Electro-Ac%C3%BAstico)*.
