**Quellendorf** (ˈkvɛlənˌdɔʁf) is a village and a former municipality in the district of [Anhalt-Bitterfeld](/source/Anhalt-Bitterfeld), in [Saxony-Anhalt](/source/Saxony-Anhalt), [Germany](/source/Germany). Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the town [Südliches Anhalt](/source/S%C3%BCdliches_Anhalt).[1]

In the 19th century the estate was the property of General Count [Henckel von Donnersmarck](/source/Henckel_von_Donnersmarck) who sold it to Field Marshal Count [Leonhardt von Blumenthal](/source/Leonhard_von_Blumenthal) after the [Franco-Prussian War](/source/Franco-Prussian_War). The Field Marshal later transferred ownership to his son-in-law, Rudolf von Oettinger.[citation needed]
