The box set has 12 x [3" CD single](/source/3%22_CD_single) ('Mini Album' written on the reverse of all sleeves) snap-packs ({{langx|ja|短冊|tanzaku}}) which includes twelve hit-singles released between 1973 and 1986. The singles start with the [A-side](/source/A-side) tracks "[Seven Seas Of Rhye](/source/Seven_Seas_Of_Rhye)" through to "[A Kind Of Magic](/source/A_Kind_Of_Magic)" complete with [B-sides](/source/B-sides). The few non-album B-sides included are "[See What a Fool I've Been](/source/See_What_a_Fool_I've_Been)", "[Soul Brother](/source/Under_Pressure)",  "[I Go Crazy](/source/The_Works_(Queen_album))" and "[A Dozen Red Roses for My Darling](/source/A_Kind_Of_Magic)".<ref name="allmusic">{{cite web|url=http://www.allmusic.com/album/singles-box-mw0000878765|title=AllMusic review of Queen Box Set|website=[AllMusic](/source/AllMusic)|accessdate=28 July 2022}}</ref> The [compact disc](/source/compact_disc)s are 3-inch or (8&nbsp;cm), with sleeves called snap-packs, as they could be "snapped and folded" into a small square.
