The **Quakertown Passenger and Freight Station** is a historic [train station](/source/Train_station) and [freight](/source/Freight) depot located at [Quakertown](/source/Quakertown%2C_Pennsylvania), [Bucks County, Pennsylvania](/source/Bucks_County%2C_Pennsylvania). The two buildings were designed by [Wilson Bros. & Company](/source/Wilson_Bros._%26_Company) in 1889 and built by [Cramp and Co.](/source/Cramp_and_Co.) for the [Philadelphia and Reading Railroad](/source/Reading_Company) in 1902. The passenger station is constructed of dark Rockhill [granite](/source/Granite) and Indiana [limestone](/source/Limestone) and is in a [Late Victorian](/source/Victorian_architecture) style. It is 1+1⁄2 stories tall and measures 25 feet (7.6 meters) wide by 97 feet 6 inches (29.72 meters), long. It has a [hipped roof](/source/Hip_roof) with an eight-foot overhang. The freight station is a 1+1⁄2-story, rectangular stone block building measuring 128 by 30 feet (39.0 by 9.1 meters). Also on the property is a large crane that was used for freight movement.[3] The Quakertown station had passenger rail service along the [Bethlehem Line](/source/Bethlehem_Line) to [Bethlehem](/source/Bethlehem%2C_Pennsylvania) and [Philadelphia](/source/Philadelphia) until July 27, 1981, when [SEPTA](/source/SEPTA) ended service on all its intercity [diesel-powered lines](/source/SEPTA_diesel_service).[4] [SEPTA](/source/SEPTA) still owns the line and leases it to the [East Penn Railroad](/source/East_Penn_Railroad). Other towns, stations, and landmarks on the [Bethlehem Line](/source/Bethlehem_Line) are [Perkasie](/source/Perkasie%2C_Pennsylvania), [Perkasie Tunnel](/source/Perkasie_Tunnel), and [Perkasie station](/source/Perkasie_station).

It was added to the [National Register of Historic Places](/source/National_Register_of_Historic_Places) in 2000.[2]

[Lehigh Valley Transit](/source/Lehigh_Valley_Transit) interurbans ran on Main Street, roughly one mile to the west.[5]
