# Pyrola picta

***Pyrola picta***, commonly called **whiteveined wintergreen**[1] or **whitevein shinleaf**, is a [perennial](/source/Perennial_plant) herb in the [heath family](/source/Ericaceae). It is native to western North America from southwestern Canada to the southwestern United States.
