'''Pyramidelloidea''' is a [superfamily](/source/Taxonomic_rank) of mostly very small [sea snail](/source/sea_snail)s, [marine](/source/marine_(ocean)) [gastropod](/source/gastropod) [mollusk](/source/mollusk)s and [micromollusk](/source/micromollusk)s within the clade [Panpulmonata](/source/Panpulmonata).<ref name="Jörger 2010"/>

This is a voluminous [taxon](/source/taxon): above the species level close to 400 named taxa are referred to this gastropod superfamily.

Pyramidelloidea has both [fossil](/source/fossil) and recent members. They live as [ectoparasite](/source/ectoparasite)s on [bivalve](/source/bivalve) molluscs and [polychaete](/source/polychaete) worms, and have a sharp, piercing [stylet](/source/Stylet_(anatomy)) instead of a [radula](/source/radula).<ref name=IZ>{{cite book |author= Barnes, Robert D. |year=1982 |title= Invertebrate Zoology |publisher= Holt-Saunders International |location= Philadelphia, PA|pages= 376|isbn= 0-03-056747-5}}</ref>
