# Pyotr Drozhdin

**Pyotr Semyonovich Drozhdin** (Russian: Пётр Семёнович Дрождин; 1745 – 1805) was a Russian [painter](/source/Painting). He studied in [St. Petersburg](/source/St._Petersburg) under [Alexei Antropov](/source/Alexei_Antropov) and [Dmitri Levitsky](/source/Dmitri_Levitsky), and was granted the title of [Academician](/source/Academician) in 1785.
