Puja Joshi was born and brought up in [Mumbai](/source/Mumbai) to a [Gujarati](/source/Gujarati_people) family. She comes from the family of a defence background and her father served in [Indian Air Force](/source/Indian_Air_Force). Puja has done her graduation from [Mithibai College](/source/Mithibai_College), Mumbai in Biotechnology.
