# Protyparcha

***Protyparcha*** is a [genus](/source/Genus) of [moths](/source/Moth) of the family [Crambidae](/source/Crambidae).[2] It contains only one species, ***Protyparcha scaphodes***, which is [endemic](/source/Endemism) to [New Zealand](/source/New_Zealand),[3] where it is known only from [Auckland Islands](/source/Auckland_Islands). Both the genus and species were described by [Edward Meyrick](/source/Edward_Meyrick) in 1909.[4]
