**Protector Heights** are mountainous coastal heights (2,245 m) on [Pernik Peninsula](/source/Pernik_Peninsula), [Antarctica](/source/Antarctica), which are separated from the [Graham Land](/source/Graham_Land) [plateau](/source/Plateau) by a narrow [col](/source/Mountain_pass), dominating the area between [Wilkinson Glacier](/source/Wilkinson_Glacier) and southern [Darbel Bay](/source/Darbel_Bay). Mapped from air photos taken by [Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition](/source/Falkland_Islands_and_Dependencies_Aerial_Survey_Expedition) (FIDASE) (1956–57). Named by [United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee](/source/United_Kingdom_Antarctic_Place-Names_Committee) (UK-APC) after HMS work and served in the Antarctic every season from 1955 until 1967.
