***Prorella mellisa*** is a [moth](/source/Moth) in the family [Geometridae](/source/Geometridae) [first described](/source/Species_description) by John Arthur Grossbeck in 1908. It is found in the US states of [California](/source/California), [Arizona](/source/Arizona), [Colorado](/source/Colorado) and [Montana](/source/Montana).[3] Adults have been recorded on wing in May and from July to October.
