# Preston Anderson

**Jerry Preston Anderson** (September 30, 1951 – October 15, 1980) was an American professional [football](/source/American_football) [cornerback](/source/Cornerback) who played one season for the [Cleveland Browns](/source/Cleveland_Browns) in 1974.[1] He was selected in the 16th round (407) in the [1974 NFL draft](/source/1974_NFL_draft). He was also selected in the 27th round (314) in the [1974 WFL Draft](/source/1974_WFL_Draft).[2]
