**Presidio Graduate School** (Presidio) is a private [graduate school](/source/Graduate_school) in [San Anselmo, California](/source/San_Anselmo%2C_California) that was founded in 2002.[1] It offers [MBA](/source/MBA) and [MPA](/source/Master_of_Public_Administration) degrees in [sustainable development](/source/Sustainable_development).[2] Presidio offers a formal "green MBA" curriculum centered on [environmental sustainability](/source/Sustainability) and [social justice](/source/Social_justice), to a great extent inspired by [John Elkington's](/source/John_Elkington_(business_author)) [triple bottom line](/source/Triple_bottom_line).[3] In 2015, *[The New York Times](/source/The_New_York_Times)* named Presidio the MBA program to choose "if you want to change the world."[4] It was in the process of being acquired by the [University of Redlands](/source/University_of_Redlands) in Southern California until 2024.[5][6] The campus moved to San Anselmo (at the site of the [San Francisco Theological Seminary](/source/San_Francisco_Theological_Seminary), also part of U of R) from San Francisco after the merger was announced. Upon the completion of the merger in summer 2024, the school will be known as the **Presidio Center for Sustainable Solutions in the School of Business & Society at the University of Redlands**.[7]

Presidio has a low-residency format with face-to-face classes once a month and remaining classes online.[4][3] About sixty percent of students are women.[4]

Presidians have occupied director of sustainability positions at companies including [Salesforce](/source/Salesforce) and [Facebook](/source/Facebook).[4]

Presidio presidents have included William Shutkin (2011-2016) and Mark Schulman.[8][3]
