**Prentice Airport** is a public use [airport](/source/Airport) located one [nautical mile](/source/Nautical_mile) (2 [km](/source/Kilometre)) east of the [central business district](/source/Central_business_district) of [Prentice](/source/Prentice,_Wisconsin), a village in the [town of Prentice](/source/Prentice_(town),_Wisconsin), [Price County, Wisconsin](/source/Price_County,_Wisconsin), United States.[1] It is owned by the village of Prentice.[1]

## Facilities and aircraft

Prentice Airport covers an area of 28 [acres](/source/Acre) (11 [ha](/source/Hectare)) at an [elevation](/source/Elevation) of 1,579 feet (481 m) above [mean sea level](/source/Mean_sea_level). It has one [runway](/source/Runway) designated 9/27 with an [asphalt](/source/Asphalt_concrete) surface measuring 3,134 by 60 feet (955 x 18 m).[1]
