**Prawle** is a rural [locality](/source/Suburbs_and_localities_(Australia)) in the [Fraser Coast Region](/source/Fraser_Coast_Region), [Queensland](/source/Queensland), Australia.[1] In the , Prawle had a population of 34 people.[2]

## Geography

The *[Mary River](/source/Mary_River_(Queensland))* forms the southern boundary and much of the eastern and western.[3]

The land use is mostly [grazing](/source/Pastoralism) on native vegetation with some crop growing in areas closer to the river.[4]

## History

Prawle was a farm operated by William Henry White established circa 1861.[5] The name Prawle refers to the White's place of birth in [Devon](/source/Devon), England.[6][7][8]
