# Pramod Sah

**Pramod Sah** is a Nepalese politician, belonging to the [People's Socialist Party, Nepal](/source/People's_Socialist_Party,_Nepal_(2020)) formerly serving as the member of the [1st Federal Parliament of Nepal](/source/1st_Federal_Parliament_of_Nepal). In the [2017 Nepalese general election](/source/2017_Nepalese_general_election) he was elected from the [Sarlahi 1 constituency](/source/Sarlahi_1_(constituency)), securing 22036 (33.79%) votes.[2]

## Controversies

- In 2019 Sah was arrested from [Tribhuvan International Airport](/source/Tribhuvan_International_Airport) for vandalising [Buddha Air](/source/Buddha_Air)'s counter in Janakpur. He was protesting against Buddha Air for his concern over the health a kidney patient, his co-passenger.[3][4]
