== Biography ==
Rimal was born in 1937 (15 Ashoj 1994 [BS](/source/Vikram_Samvat)) in [Lubhu](/source/Lubhu%2C_Lalitpur) village of [Lalitpur District](/source/Lalitpur_District%2C_Nepal) of [Nepal](/source/Nepali_language) to father Durga Parsad Rimal and mother Dilli Kumari Rimal.<ref name=":2" />

In 1996, he worked as an assistant director and musician for ''[Maitighar](/source/Maitighar)''.{{citation needed|date=November 2024}}
