**Poussanges** (pusɑ̃ʒ; Occitan: *Possanjas*) is a [commune](/source/Communes_of_France) in the [Creuse](/source/Creuse) [department](/source/Departments_of_France) in the [Nouvelle-Aquitaine](/source/Nouvelle-Aquitaine) [region](/source/Regions_of_France) in central [France](/source/France).

## Geography

An area of [farming](/source/Farming) and [forestry](/source/Forestry), lakes and streams comprising the village and a few hamlets situated by the banks of the river Déjoune, some 11 miles (18 km) south of [Aubusson](/source/Aubusson,_Creuse), at the junction of the D35 and the D93 roads. The commune is within the [natural park](/source/Regional_natural_parks_of_France) of the ‘Millevaches’ (1000 lakes, not cows).
