The '''Pothier House''' is a historic house in [Woonsocket, Rhode Island](/source/Woonsocket%2C_Rhode_Island).  This modest L-shaped {{frac|1|1|2}}-story cottage is notable as the longtime home of Woonsocket Mayor (and later [Governor of Rhode Island](/source/Governor_of_Rhode_Island)) [Aram J. Pothier](/source/Aram_J._Pothier).  Pothier's father purchased the house c. 1881, and it was the younger Pothier's home until his death (while serving as governor) in 1928.<ref name=NRHP>{{cite web|url=http://www.preservation.ri.gov/pdfs_zips_downloads/national_pdfs/woonsocket/woon_woonsocket-multiple-resource-nomination.pdf|title=MRA nomination for Woonsocket (PDF pages 109-110)|publisher=Rhode Island Preservation|accessdate=2014-08-05}}</ref>
