'''Porsche Ring''' (also known as '''Audru ringrada''', '''auto24ring''', '''Audru Ring''', '''Pärnu Ring''', '''Sauga Ring''' and '''EST-Ring''') is a [motor racing](/source/Motorsport) [circuit](/source/racing_circuit) in [Papsaare](/source/Papsaare), near [Pärnu](/source/P%C3%A4rnu), [Estonia](/source/Estonia). It is operated by A2 Racing MTÜ<ref>{{cite web|url=http://ringrada.ee/?a%3Da009%26b%3D3299 |title=Ringrada.ee |accessdate=2010-01-04 |url-status=dead |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20110720125849/http://ringrada.ee/?a=a009&b=3299 |archivedate=2011-07-20}}</ref><!-- archived URL goes wrong place. Checked June 2020 --> and is the only permanent road circuit in Estonia. The circuit hosts rounds of [Baltic Touring Car Championship](/source/Baltic_Touring_Car_Championship) and other Estonian, Finnish, Baltic and North European Zone events. It is also possible to rent track cars and enjoy different driving experiences or drive your own vehicle (car, motorcycle).

==History==
The first competitions at the location of the circuit were held in the 1930s. The original layout, called ''Sauga Kolmnurk'' (Sauga Triangle), was a {{cvt|6.100|km|mi|abbr=on}} long circuit utilising three public roads: ''Nurme tee'', ''Sulu-Papsaare tee'' and ''Haapsalu maantee''.<ref name="ussr">{{cite web|url=http://www.ussr-autosport.ru/tracks/sauga.html |title=Сауга |accessdate=2010-05-20 |url-status=dead |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20120306204511/http://www.ussr-autosport.ru/tracks/sauga.html |archivedate=2012-03-06 }}</ref><ref name="forum">{{cite web|url=http://f1cel.eu/foorum/viewthread.php?tid%3D1455 |title=F1CEL Foorum - Powered by XMB |accessdate=2010-07-19 |url-status=dead |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20110720161734/http://f1cel.eu/foorum/viewthread.php?tid=1455 |archivedate=2011-07-20 }}</ref> Racing activities at the Kolmnurk ceased in the late 1960s.<ref>{{Cite web|url=https://www.audruring.ee/?page_id=2|title=Porschering | Probably the best racetrack in the Nordics!|website=www.audruring.ee}}</ref>

A new circuit, designed by Enn Teppand was built in 1989–90. This {{cvt|3.668|km|mi|abbr=on}} long layout included one of the corners of the original Kolmnurk as well as two, shortened, straights on ''Nurme tee'' and ''Haapsalu maantee''. There was also a new section introduced consisting another public road and a short purpose build section.<ref name="ussr" /><ref name="forum" />

In 2000, construction of the current circuit begun. The current circuit, opened in 2001, is designed to minimize the use of public roads. The {{cvt|2.173|km|mi|abbr=on}}<ref>{{cite web |url=http://www.audruring.ee/ |title=Home |website=audruring.ee}}</ref> long layout uses the sections added in 1990 plus a new straight and a chicane. A {{cvt|350|m|ft|abbr=on}} long straight on Nurme tee is all that remains of the original 30's circuit.<ref name="ussr" /><ref name="forum" />

In 2012 a new section was completed, thus making a total length of {{cvt|3.200|km|mi|abbr=on}}. The entire track went through the upgrade in order to meet [FIA](/source/FIA) Grade 3 and [FIM](/source/F%C3%A9d%C3%A9ration_Internationale_de_Motocyclisme) Grade B standards.<ref>http://www.audru.ee/files/documents/planeeringud/834_AudruRingrada_seletuskiri1.pdf{{dead link|date=October 2016 |bot=InternetArchiveBot |fix-attempted=yes }}</ref><ref>http://www.audru.ee/files/documents/planeeringud/834_AudruRingrada_plan_Tehnovorgud.pdf{{dead link|date=October 2016 |bot=InternetArchiveBot |fix-attempted=yes }}</ref>

From August 2021, the circuit is named as Porsche Ring for 5 years.<ref name='parnu_rcircuits'>{{cite web |title=Audru Ring - Racing Circuits |url=https://www.racingcircuits.info/europe/estonia/audru-ring.html |access-date=25 December 2022}}</ref>
