"**Popcorn Love**" is a single by [New Edition](/source/New_Edition), released on August 6, 1983.[1] It was released as the third single from their debut album, *[Candy Girl](/source/Candy_Girl_(album))* on the [Streetwise](/source/Warlock_Records) label. The single read #25 on the [R&B](/source/Hot_R%26B/Hip-Hop_Songs) chart.

[Harlem World](/source/Harlem_World_(group)) [sampled](/source/Sampling_(music)) *Popcorn Love* in their song *[I Really Like It](/source/I_Really_Like_It)*.[6] [Another Bad Creation](/source/Another_Bad_Creation) covered "**Popcorn Love**"'s flip side, "**Jealous Girl**"[7] (in a slightly extended version)[8] on July 23, 1991, which also reached #25 on the R&B chart.[9] [Mase](/source/Mase) recorded a parody of "Jealous Girl" for his *[Harlem World](/source/Harlem_World)* album, called "Jealous Guy", with him, 112 and Puff Daddy singing like New Edition but with altered lyrics.[10]
