**Pooja Kanwal Mahtani** (born 24 January 1982) is an Indian [actress](/source/Actress) who has worked predominantly in [Kannada-language](/source/Kannada-language) films and Hindi television. She played lead roles in the Kannada films *[Seven O' Clock](/source/Seven_O'_Clock)* and *[Tirupathi](/source/Thirupathi_(2006_Kannada_film))*.[1] She appeared in *[Palampur Express](/source/Palampur_Express)*[2] where she portrayed the lead role of Pawni. She is currently working with Aajtak & India Today Group.

## Personal life

She is a daughter of [Anita Kanwal](/source/Anita_Kanwal).[3]
