***Polish Blood*** (German: ***Polenblut***) is a 1934 [musical film](/source/Musical_film) directed by [Carl Lamac](/source/Carl_Lamac) and starring [Anny Ondra](/source/Anny_Ondra), [Hans Moser](/source/Hans_Moser_(actor)) and [Iván Petrovich](/source/Iv%C3%A1n_Petrovich).[1] It is an [operetta film](/source/Operetta_film), based on the libretto of the operetta *[Polenblut](/source/Polenblut)* by the Austrian playwright [Leo Stein](/source/Leo_Stein_(writer)). The film's sets were designed by [art directors](/source/Art_directors) [Bohumil Hes](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Bohumil_Hes&action=edit&redlink=1) and [Stepán Kopecký](/source/Step%C3%A1n_Kopeck%C3%BD). A separate Czech language version titled **Polská krev** was also released.[2]
