***Pleiomorpha homotypa*** is a [moth](/source/Moth) of the family [Gracillariidae](/source/Gracillariidae). It is found in [South Africa](/source/South_Africa).[2]

The [larvae](/source/Larva) feed on *[Diospyros lycioides](/source/Diospyros_lycioides)*. They [mine](/source/Leaf_miner) the leaves of their host plant. The mine has the form of a small, oblong, transparent, tentiform mine along the mid-rib.
