A [farming](/source/farming) area comprising the village and several hamlets situated by the banks of the [Creuse](/source/Creuse_(river)), some {{convert|8|mi|km}} east of [Guéret](/source/Gu%C3%A9ret), at the junction of the D4, D65 and the D16.
