Pinks Branch rises on the [Fork Branch](/source/Fork_Branch_(St._Jones_River_tributary)) divide about 0.1 miles southwest of Shorts Corner, Delaware.[4]

## Watershed

Pinks Branch drains 5.59 square miles (14.5 km2) of area, receives about 44.8 in/year of precipitation, has a [topographic wetness index](/source/Topographic_wetness_index) of 616.66 and is about 6.5% forested.[2]
