**Pierre Gill** [C.S.C.](/source/Canadian_Society_of_Cinematographers) is a Canadian [cinematographer](/source/Cinematographer) and film and television director.[1][2] A [Montreal](/source/Montreal) native, he is closely associated with [Quebecois cinema](/source/Cinema_of_Quebec), and has collaborated with directors like [Jean-Marc Vallée](/source/Jean-Marc_Vall%C3%A9e), [Charles Binamé](/source/Charles_Binam%C3%A9), [Christian Duguay](/source/Christian_Duguay_(director)), [Allan Moyle](/source/Allan_Moyle), and [Denis Villeneuve](/source/Denis_Villeneuve), working on such films as [*Black List*](/source/Black_List_(1995_film)), [*The Art of War*](/source/The_Art_of_War_(film)), *[Lost and Delirious](/source/Lost_and_Delirious),* *[The Rocket](/source/The_Rocket_(2005_film))*, *[Polytechnique](/source/Polytechnique_(film))*, and [*Upside Down*](/source/Upside_Down_(2012_film)).
