'''Pierre Deniger''' (16 October 1947 – 13 April 1992) was a [Liberal party](/source/Liberal_Party_of_Canada) member of the [House of Commons of Canada](/source/House_of_Commons_of_Canada). He was born in [Longueuil](/source/Longueuil), [Quebec](/source/Quebec) and became a businessman and lawyer by career.

He won the [Laprairie electoral district](/source/La_Prairie_(federal_electoral_district)) in the [1979 federal election](/source/1979_Canadian_federal_election) and was re-elected there in [1980](/source/1980_Canadian_federal_election). In the [1984 election](/source/1984_Canadian_federal_election), Deniger was defeated by [Fernand Jourdenais](/source/Fernand_Jourdenais) of the [Progressive Conservative party](/source/Progressive_Conservative_Party_of_Canada). Deniger also lost to Jourdenais in another attempt to win the riding in the [1988 election](/source/1988_Canadian_federal_election). He served in the [31st](/source/31st_Canadian_Parliament) and [32nd Canadian Parliament](/source/32nd_Canadian_Parliament)s.
