***Phyllogyalidea*** is a [genus](/source/Genus) of [lichens](/source/Lichen) in the family [Gomphillaceae](/source/Gomphillaceae).[1] It was [circumscribed](/source/Circumscription_(taxonomy)) in 2008 by lichenologists [Robert Lücking](/source/Robert_L%C3%BCcking) and [André Aptroot](/source/Andr%C3%A9_Aptroot), with *Phyllogyalidea epiphylla* designated as the [type species](/source/Type_species).[2] *[P. phyllophila](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Phyllogyalidea_phyllophila&action=edit&redlink=1)* was recorded from the [Shakhe River](/source/Shakhe_River) valley ([Krasnodar Territory](/source/Krasnodar_Territory), Western [Transcaucasia](/source/Transcaucasia)) in 2016.[3]
