**Phillip Cameron Morrison** (born 29 December 1984 in [São Luís, Maranhão](/source/S%C3%A3o_Lu%C3%ADs%2C_Maranh%C3%A3o)) is a Brazilian swimmer of [American](/source/American_people) descent, who specialized in freestyle events.[1][2] He represented his nation [Brazil](/source/Brazil) as a member of the freestyle relay team at the [2008 Summer Olympics](/source/2008_Summer_Olympics), and also served as a member of the [Stanford Cardinal](/source/Stanford_Cardinal) swimming squad at [Stanford University](/source/Stanford_University) in [Stanford, California](/source/Stanford%2C_California), where he graduated with a degree in earth systems, major in human biology.

Morrison competed as a member of the Brazilian team in the [4 × 200 m freestyle relay](/source/Swimming_at_the_2008_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Men's_4_%C3%97_200_metre_freestyle_relay) at the [2008 Summer Olympics](/source/2008_Summer_Olympics) in [Beijing](/source/Beijing). Despite missing out the individual spot in the 200 m freestyle, he managed to place fourth at the annual Maria Lenk Trophy in [Rio de Janeiro](/source/Rio_de_Janeiro) (1:49.04) to earn a selection on the relay team.[3][4] Teaming with [Rodrigo Castro](/source/Rodrigo_Castro), [Nicolas Oliveira](/source/Nicolas_Oliveira_(swimmer)), and [Lucas Salatta](/source/Lucas_Salatta) in heat one, Morrison swam the third leg with a split of 1:49.35, but the Brazilian team had to settle for last place out of sixteen registered nations in 7:19.54.[5]
