# Philipp Rosemann

**Philipp W. Rosemann** (born February 24, 1964, in [Frankfurt](/source/Frankfurt)) is a German philosopher and Cottrill-Rolfes Chair at [University of Kentucky](/source/University_of_Kentucky).[1] Previously he was Professor of Philosophy at [Maynooth University](/source/Maynooth_University). He is the co-editor of [Dallas Medieval Texts and Translations](/source/Dallas_Medieval_Texts_and_Translations). Prior to his tenure at Maynooth, he taught at the [University of Dallas](/source/University_of_Dallas) for twenty years.[2][3][4]

He is a member of the [Royal Irish Academy](/source/Royal_Irish_Academy)[5] and of the [ecumenical](/source/Ecumenism) Beatrice Institute of [Pittsburgh](/source/Pittsburgh).[6]
