'''Pheroras''' ({{langx|el|Φερώρας}}; c. 68 BC–c. 5 BC), probably born in [Marissa](/source/Maresha) ([Idumea](/source/Idumea)), was the youngest son of [Antipater I](/source/Antipater_the_Idumaean) and his wife Cypros and younger brother of [Herod the Great](/source/Herod_the_Great).

His first marriage was to a sister of [Mariamne I](/source/Mariamne_I) (wife of Herod) which marriage was allegedly arranged by Herod. When this wife died, Herod betrothed him to his eldest daughter by Mariamne I, [Salampsio](/source/Salampsio), but because of an affection for a "slave girl", by whose "charms" he was "overcome",<ref>Jos. BI 1,24,5; Jos. Ant. Iud. 16,7,3</ref> he rejected the marriage.
