'''Peter Walter Edward Rawson''' (born 25 May 1957) is a Zimbabwean former [cricket](/source/cricket)er. He played ten [One Day International](/source/One_Day_International)s for [Zimbabwe](/source/Zimbabwe_national_cricket_team) between 1983 and 1987.
An opening bowler and useful lower-order batsman, Rawson represented Zimbabwe at the [1983](/source/1983_Cricket_World_Cup) and [1987 Cricket World Cup](/source/1987_Cricket_World_Cup)s. In 1983 he took early wickets in the matches against India and West Indies that in each case briefly put Zimbabwe in a strong position.[''[Wisden](/source/Wisden_Cricketers'_Almanack)'' 1984, pp. 303, 308.]
In 1984 he played for [Rishton](/source/Rishton_Cricket_Club) in the [Lancashire League](/source/Lancashire_League_(cricket)), taking 102 wickets at 14.08 and scoring 539 runs at 22.46.[''Wisden'' 1985, p. 834.] He also played [Minor Counties](/source/Minor_Counties_Cricket_Championship) cricket for [Suffolk](/source/Suffolk_County_Cricket_Club).
He left Zimbabwe in 1989 and played the rest of his career with [Natal](/source/Natal_cricket_team) in [South Africa](/source/South_Africa), retiring after the 1994–95 season.
