**Peter Loudon** (born 17 November 1966 in [Perth](/source/Perth%2C_Scotland), [Scotland](/source/Scotland)) is a [Scottish](/source/Scotland) [curler](/source/Curling) and world champion.[1] He is the alternate player on the [David Murdoch](/source/David_Murdoch) team.

He won a gold medal (with skip [Hammy McMillan](/source/Hammy_McMillan)) at the [1999 Ford World Curling Championships](/source/1999_Ford_World_Curling_Championships) in [Saint John, New Brunswick](/source/Saint_John%2C_New_Brunswick).[2] He has received three gold medals at the [European Curling Championships](/source/European_Curling_Championships).

Loudon competed for [Great Britain at the 2002 Winter Olympics](/source/Great_Britain_at_the_2002_Winter_Olympics#Curling).[3]

Loudon is on the board of directors at Scottish football club [St Johnstone](/source/St_Johnstone_F.C.), for whom his grandfather, [Peter Gavigan](/source/Peter_Gavigan), played during the 1920s.[4]

He is a brother of [Edith Loudon](/source/Edith_Loudon) and [Katie Loudon](/source/Katie_Loudon).[1]
