In 2004, at the rank of [colonel](/source/colonel), he was a member of the pioneer class to attend the Uganda Senior Command and Staff College, at [Kimaka](/source/Kimaka), [Jinja](/source/Jinja%2C_Uganda), [Eastern Uganda](/source/Eastern_Region%2C_Uganda), under its first [commandant](/source/commandant), [Lieutenant General](/source/Lieutenant_General) [Ivan Koreta](/source/Ivan_Koreta).
