He spent most of his career with [Vaduz](/source/FC_Vaduz), representing the club in both the [Swiss Super League](/source/Swiss_Super_League) and the [Challenge League](/source/Swiss_Challenge_League). He also played in France and Portugal.

==Club career==
Jehle was born in [Schaan](/source/Schaan) as the youngest of three brothers, all of whom grew up playing football.<ref name=Connelly>Connelly 2002, 300</ref> At the age of 16 he had trials with English [Premier League](/source/Premier_League) clubs [Liverpool](/source/Liverpool_F.C.) and [Crystal Palace](/source/Crystal_Palace_F.C.), and both offered him professional contracts but he turned them down to stay home and finish school.<ref>Connelly 2002, 301</ref> Subsequently, he got further offers from [Bayer Leverkusen](/source/Bayer_04_Leverkusen) of the [Bundesliga](/source/Bundesliga) and [Juventus](/source/Juventus_FC) of [Serie A](/source/Serie_A), but turned those down as well.<ref name=Trials>Connelly 2002, 302</ref>
