'''Peter James Bercich''' (born December 23, 1971) is an American former professional [football](/source/American_football) player who was a [linebacker](/source/linebacker) for the [Minnesota Vikings](/source/Minnesota_Vikings) of the [National Football League](/source/National_Football_League) (NFL). He played [college football](/source/college_football) for the [Notre Dame Fighting Irish](/source/Notre_Dame_Fighting_Irish_football). He was selected by the Vikings in the seventh round of the [1994 NFL draft](/source/1994_NFL_draft) with the 211th overall pick.<ref>{{Cite web |title=1994 NFL Draft Listing |url=https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/1994/draft.htm |access-date=2023-03-31 |website=Pro-Football-Reference.com |language=en}}</ref> He played five seasons for the NFL's Vikings (1995–2000).  After his playing days were over he spent 5 years as a Vikings' defensive assistant. To date, his career highlight in radio broadcasting (by his own admission) was subbing for [Dan "The Common Man" Cole](/source/KFXN-FM) on [KFAN-AM 1130](/source/KFXN-FM) in [Minneapolis – Saint Paul](/source/Minneapolis_%E2%80%93_Saint_Paul) on October 14, 2008.
