# Personal Flight

**Personal Flight** was an American [aircraft manufacturer](/source/Aircraft_manufacturer) based in [Kent, Washington](/source/Kent,_Washington) and later [Chelan, Washington](/source/Chelan,_Washington). The company specialized in the design and manufacture of [ultralight trikes](/source/Ultralight_trike), [paramotors](/source/Paramotor) and [powered parachutes](/source/Powered_parachute) in the form of kits for [amateur construction](/source/Homebuilt_aircraft) including for the US [FAR 103 Ultralight Vehicles](/source/FAR_103_Ultralight_Vehicles) rules.[1][2]

The company went out of business at the end of 2003.[3]

The company produced a diverse series of ultralight aircraft in the late 1990s, included the [Personal Flight Sky-Tender](/source/Personal_Flight_Sky-Tender), an ultralight trike [flying boat](/source/Flying_boat), the [Personal Flight Sky-Bike](/source/Personal_Flight_Sky-Bike), a paramotor and the conversion of that model to a powered parachute, by the addition of a wheeled carriage as the [Personal Flight Sky-Bike Trike](/source/Personal_Flight_Sky-Bike_Trike).[1][2]

Personal Flight also acted as an importer and dealer for [La Mouette](/source/La_Mouette) [hang gliders](/source/Hang_glider) and [Cosmos ULM](/source/Cosmos_ULM) ultralight trikes.[4]
