# Perry Suckling

**Perry John Suckling** (born 12 October 1965,[2] in [Leyton](/source/Leyton)) is an English former [footballer](/source/Association_football) who played as a [goalkeeper](/source/Goalkeeper_(association_football)) and was most recently a goalkeeping coach at [Tottenham Hotspur](/source/Tottenham_Hotspur_F.C.).

## Coaching career

In 2015 he was appointed academy manager at [Queens Park Rangers](/source/Queens_Park_Rangers_F.C.).[3] He stayed in this post for two seasons before making the switch to [Tottenham Hotspur](/source/Tottenham_Hotspur_F.C.) in 2017 to become the academy and goalkeeping coach.[4] Suckling became [Tottenham Women's](/source/Tottenham_Hotspur_F.C._Women) goalkeeping coach in August 2023[5] but left the club in August 2024.[6]
