The **Peninsula Library System** (**PLS**) is a consortium of public and community college libraries[3] in [San Mateo County](/source/San_Mateo_County%2C_California), [California](/source/California), United States, which serves the [Peninsula](/source/San_Francisco_Peninsula) region of the [San Francisco Bay Area](/source/San_Francisco_Bay_Area). The system has dozens of branches in local communities and at various area community colleges, a bookmobile, and automated book kiosks called [Library-a-Go-Go](/source/GoLibrary).[4]

## Member libraries

Peninsula Library System is a consortium of libraries, whose members are the branches of the [San Mateo County Libraries](/source/San_Mateo_County_Libraries), individual city libraries and their branches, and area community college libraries.

There are two branches in [Burlingame](/source/Burlingame%2C_California): one main library, and one at Easton. The PLS includes the libraries at [Cañada College](/source/Ca%C3%B1ada_College), [College of San Mateo](/source/College_of_San_Mateo), and [Skyline College](/source/Skyline_College). There are four branches in [Daly City](/source/Daly_City%2C_California): the John D. Daly branch on Hillside, the Bayshore branch, the [Serramonte](/source/Serramonte_Mall) branch, and the [Westlake](/source/Westlake_Shopping_Center) branch. [Menlo Park](/source/Menlo_Park%2C_California) has both a main branch and a branch at Belle Haven. The Downtown Library, Schaberg Branch Library, and Redwood Shores Branch Library comprise the three library locations in the community of [Redwood City](/source/Redwood_City%2C_California). [San Mateo](/source/San_Mateo%2C_California) has a main downtown location plus two minor branches, while [South San Francisco](/source/South_San_Francisco%2C_California) has two self-titled branches, both a main branch and one on Grand Avenue. [Pacifica](/source/Pacifica%2C_California) has two branches at Sanchez and Sharp Park.
