'''Pembridge Square''' is a residential [square](/source/Garden_square) in the [Bayswater](/source/Bayswater) area of London close to nearby [Notting Hill](/source/Notting_Hill).<ref>Nicholson p.197</ref> It is located in the [Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea](/source/Royal_Borough_of_Kensington_and_Chelsea), just across the border from the [City of Westminster](/source/City_of_Westminster) to the east. It was laid out during the wider expansion of London into the area during the nineteenth century. Like [Pembridge Gardens](/source/Pembridge_Gardens) leading off it the south, it was constructed by the landowner Robert Hall and the builders Francis and William Radford and features [stucco](/source/stucco) frontages.<ref>Cruickshank</ref> It was built between 1858 and 1864. Several buildings in the square are [Grade II listed](/source/Grade_II_listed). It joins [Moscow Road](/source/Moscow_Road) to the east, while [Chepstow Place](/source/Chepstow_Place) heads north from it to meet with [Westbourne Grove](/source/Westbourne_Grove).
