**Peleces** or **Pelekes** ([Ancient Greek](/source/Ancient_Greek_language): Πήληκες, [romanized](/source/Romanization_of_Ancient_Greek): *Pēlēkes*) were three [demoi](/source/Deme) of [ancient Attica](/source/Ancient_Attica), forming a community, as τρίκωμοι,[1] and probably, therefore, adjacent. If the reading in [Thucydides](/source/Thucydides) is correct, διὰ Κρωπειᾶς,[2] these demoi should be placed in the north of the Athenian plain, but many editors read διὰ Κεκροπίας.

The site of Peleces is tentatively located near modern [Chasia](/source/Chasia).[3][4]
