'''Paul Forber''' (born 29 April 1964) is an English former [rugby league](/source/rugby_league) footballer who played as a {{rlp|sr}} or {{rlp|pr}} in the 1980s and 1990s. He spent most of his career with [St Helens](/source/St_Helens_R.F.C.), making almost 250 appearances in 11 seasons at the club. He also spent several seasons with [Salford](/source/Salford_Red_Devils) before finishing his career with [Workington Town](/source/Workington_Town) and [Rochdale Hornets](/source/Rochdale_Hornets).

==Playing career==
Forber started his professional rugby league career with [St Helens](/source/St_Helens_R.F.C.), signing for the club in May 1981. The following season, he represented [Lancashire](/source/Lancashire_rugby_league_team) in a "War of the Roses" match against [Yorkshire](/source/Yorkshire_rugby_league_team). He was a non-playing substitute in the [1987 Challenge Cup](/source/1987_Challenge_Cup) final defeat against [Halifax](/source/Halifax_R.L.F.C.).

He played at {{rlp|sr}} in the [1987–88 John Player Special Trophy](/source/1987%E2%80%9388_John_Player_Special_Trophy) victory over [Leeds](/source/Leeds_Rhinos).
