# Paul Fishwick

**Paul Darrell Fishwick** (born 21 August 1936) is a British [field hockey](/source/Field_hockey) player who competed at the [1964 Summer Olympics](/source/1964_Summer_Olympics).[2]

## Biography

Fishwick was educated at [Newcastle-under-Lyme School](/source/Newcastle-under-Lyme_School) and studied at Cambridge University.[3]

Fishwick played club hockey for [Harborne Hockey Club](/source/Harborne_Hockey_Club) and was selected for the [1960 Summer Olympics](/source/1960_Summer_Olympics) but ultimately did not play a game due to being the number two goalkeeper behind [Harry Cahill](/source/Harry_Cahill).[4] He represented Staffordshire at county level.[5]

Fishwick represented [Great Britain](/source/Great_Britain_at_the_1964_Summer_Olympics) at the 1964 Olympic Games in [Tokyo](/source/Tokyo) in the [men's tournament](/source/Field_hockey_at_the_1964_Summer_Olympics).[6][7]
