# Paul Besson

**Paul Aloïs Besson** (25 March 1926 – 25 August 1988) was a Swiss [wrestler](/source/Amateur_wrestling). He competed in the [men's freestyle lightweight](/source/Wrestling_at_the_1952_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Men's_freestyle_lightweight) at the [1952 Summer Olympics](/source/1952_Summer_Olympics).[1] Besson died on [Ollon](/source/Ollon) on 25 August 1988, at the age of 62.[2]
